This year I decided to try myself on Skillshare as a teacher. So I produced my first video on fine art. I show you how to make a mixed media art piece in some easy steps. You can than use it as an individual decoration on your wall, give it to someone as a gift or scan and use it as a first step of a digital illustration. I drive you through the making process, I talk about illustrations in general and show you some tricks and tips how I create 🙂

I was very scared first to speak in front of a camera but than I decided that it would work so I stepped out of my comfort zone (as everybody suggest on social media, right?) and I did it! Now that’s you who has to do the first step on making art and just go ahead! I’m sure that you also can create outstanding art just have to start somewhere… maybe here and now!?

Making faces

Last month I’ve signed up on Carla Sonheim blog’s online class with Lynn Whipple… Making Faces

I don’t really know why but I was affraid of making faces ever since I’ve finished my studies of applied arts. I was drawing portraits countlessly on the university and before but still it was something scary for me, even though they were quite good drawings.

So now I’ve decided to face my fear and took that online class. I really liked it. I show you the result. What do you think?

Happy new year! 2017 will be great! 🙂 I’ve finished 2016 with a painting that speaks mainly to divers… my hubby dives when he can so it’s not accidentally though 🙂

So what you think? I really enjoyed the process. Hope you like it!

Saving Elefly

After a small varnishing accident (that washed together the colours) I repainted the details. The result became even better and more vivid than before! 🙂

Hello all,

I have been so busy in the last period that I just forgot posting here anything. Usually I’ve posted on my Facebook page or on Instagram the freshly made art pieces as it is just so much easier… you know, you don’t need to write too long or post real meaningful contents, just upload some images made by your phone, add some words and voilà, you’ve done… just a few minutes. 😀

Anyway, I had three exhibitions this year. One in Hungary (Aba-Novák Galéria, Leányfalu) and the two others in Geneva (Atelier du Square, Karinne Art & Esthétique). In the Atelier du Square my partner was Olive de Calvingrad with his extremely rich coloured drawings, so I was the monochrome side there (funny, isn’t it?)… I exhibited mostly illustrations beside some greyish, blueish paintings. Now I’d like to show you these illustrations 🙂

Kicsit sűrű volt az elmúlt évem, így el is felejtettem blogot írni. A Facebook-on, Instagram-on annyival gyorsabb, és egyszerűbb… nem kell értelmes, vagy akár tartalmas szöveget írni, nem kell hosszan fogalmazgatni a mondandódat… készítesz egy fotót a telefonoddal, feltöltöd néhény szó kíséretében, és már kész is… néhény perc az egész. 😀

Na de majd most… Ebben az évben volt már három kiállításom… egyéni, és kollektív is. Egy volt Magyarországon, a Kováts Kristóf által vezetett, dédelgetett leányfalui Aba-Novák Galériában – ahol mindig annyi szeretetet, és elismerést kapok, hogy ha máshol nem is állítanék ki, ott akkor is évekre feltöltődhetnék, látva, hogy érdemes folytatnom… köszönöm Kristóf! –, a másik kettő meg Genfben, az Atelier du Square, és a Karinne Art & Esthétique galériákban – amik sajnos ráébresztettek, hogy egy olyan nagyvárosban, mint Genf, ahol hetente sok-sok kiállításmegnyitó közül lehet válogatni, és számtalan kisebb-nagyobb galériába botolhat az ember, nos egy ilyen világvárosban abszolút nem mindegy, hogy hol állítasz ki… ugyanis az emberek nincsenek kiéhezve a kultúrára, nem megy eseményszámba egy-egy kiállításmegnyitó… valószínűleg a nagy többség belefásult már a rendezvényekbe, inkábba hétköznapok mókuskerekéből kilépve otthon marad, vagy barátokkal találkozik, mozizik, a gyerekekkel megy valahová, de gondolkozni ne nagyon kelljen… szóval Genfben inkább a közömbösséggel találkoztam (tisztelet a kivételnek).

Na, de hogy a lényegre térjek, az Atelier du Square-ben párosan állítottunk ki egy vibrálóan színes képeket festő művésszel (Olive de Calvingrad), aki mellett én képviseltem a monochrome oldalt (vicces, nem?)… fekete-fehér rajzokat vittem, néhány szürkés, kékes festmény társaságában. Szóval most ezeket a tollrajzokat szeretném megmutatni 🙂
